Working knowledge of Mazatrol a plus. Your expertise will drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovation on the shop floor, supporting our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Duties Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces efficiently while adhering to safety standards and quality requirements. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instruments to verify dimensions. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and maintaining a clean work environment. Experience Five years plus experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment required. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code; experience with Fanuc controls is preferred. Skilled in reading blueprints and mechanical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge of tooling setup, calibration of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs. Ability to work safely with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and other manufacturing tools. Basic math skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances; understanding of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of working independently or as part of a team.
