Position Overview We are seeking skilled CNC Mill and CNC Lathe Operators with mid-level experience to join our team in Broussard, LA . The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in machining within an industrial or oilfield environment. Candidates with strong experience in either CNC milling, CNC turning/lathe operations, or both are encouraged to apply. These positions will support the machining of drill pipe, BHA equipment, and other oilfield components while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and production. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC mills, including mills equipped with a 4th axis. Operate CNC lathes, primarily Haas ST-40L , for threading API connections on drill pipe and BHA equipment. Study work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and technical drawings to plan machining operations. Accurately interpret GD&T and technical specifications. Set up CNC machines, including tooling, offsets, workholding, and program inputs. Perform basic program edits on CNC mills and lathes and assist with proving out part programs. Monitor machining operations including turning, facing, grooving, and threading. Measure finished and in-process parts using appropriate precision measuring equipment. Make necessary tooling, offset, and process adjustments to maintain part specifications. Troubleshoot machining issues and replace, adjust, or sharpen tooling as needed. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Perform basic preventive maintenance on CNC equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards. Preferred Experience 3+ years of CNC machining experience. Experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or CNC lathes. Familiarity with Fanuc controls . Experience with Haas

ST-40L CNC

lathes preferred. Experience with Haas

TL-4 CNC

lathes preferred. Familiarity with Puma 480D, 480L, or 800L CNC machines is a plus. CNC mill experience, including 4th-axis machining, is preferred. Experience machining API connections or oilfield equipment is highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T. Ability to perform basic math, geometry, and trigonometry calculations. Experience in oilfield, heavy industrial, or large-component machining environments preferred. Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed. Average 45-55 hours per week.
