Full-time Job Summary Machine Tech Services is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Broussard, Louisiana. We are especially interested in candidates who have manual machining experience , but manual machining experience is not required . If you have solid CNC machining experience and are willing to learn, we are willing to train the right person in manual machining . Employees who develop strong manual machining skills and take on additional responsibilities may have the opportunity to earn higher pay . What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Make machine offsets and adjustments Select and install appropriate tooling Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment Perform in-process and final inspections Maintain required tolerances and quality standards Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments Keep machines and work areas clean and safe Work efficiently to meet production schedules Follow company safety and quality procedures Manual Machining Opportunity Manual machining experience is a plus but not required . For the right CNC machinist, Machine Tech Services is willing to provide training in manual machining, including operating conventional mills and lathes and developing the skills necessary to perform more advanced manual machining work. Candidates who already have strong manual machining skills, or who successfully develop those skills with us, may qualify for higher pay based on experience and ability.

Qualifications Required:

CNC machining experience preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings Ability to use precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Willingness to learn and develop additional machining skills

Preferred:

Manual mill and/or manual lathe experience Experience setting up CNC machines Experience with CNC programming or editing Oilfield or industrial machining experience Experience machining tight-tolerance components Pay Competitive pay based on experience and skill level. Additional earning potential is available for machinists with manual machining experience or those who develop manual machining skills through company training.
