You will leverage your technical expertise to operate advanced machinery, ensuring every part meets rigorous quality standards while contributing to a culture of craftsmanship and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Execute setups and operate CNC turning centers to manufacture high-precision parts according to engineering blueprints. Conduct thorough in-process inspections using advanced metrology tools to guarantee adherence to strict specifications. Interpret complex technical drawings and manufacturing documentation to ensure accurate production outcomes. Manage part traceability and lot segregation to maintain high standards of quality control and compliance. Proactively identify and report nonconforming materials to minimize waste and maintain production efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to support optimal machine performance and team safety. Document production progress and inspection results accurately to ensure seamless workflow transitions. Required Skills Proven experience operating CNC turning equipment in a professional manufacturing setting. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret detailed engineering blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and indicators. Strong problem-solving capabilities and a meticulous approach to quality assurance. Effective communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Preferred Skills Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Prior experience working within an AS9100 or similar regulated quality environment. Hands-on experience with CMM equipment and related software. Background in machine setup and technical troubleshooting. Completion of a technical, vocational, or trade school program.
