The ideal candidate will be responsible for Programming and Setting up CNC Milling machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of programming, machining processes, and quality control standards. The CNC Milling Lead will help other operators setup, understand and run the programs that they are given and the ability to make changes to improve machining processes if needed. The CNC Machinist will work with various materials, including plastics, and utilize advanced tools and technology to ensure high-quality production. Responsibilities Set up CNC milling machines according to specifications. Schedule programming so all machines are running and have the next job ready to run. Assist others with the interpretation or setup of their programs. Communicate daily with the Operations Manager to plan the upcoming schedule. Program editing as needed of CNC machines using Fanuc, Fadal or similar systems to create precise components. Supervise production of 6 or more milling machines to assure parts are machining to estimated run times, or assist operators to achieve this production on their own. Utilize measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy in production. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during machine operation. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
