Role:

Operate and set up CNC lathes and mills to support manufacturing based on skillset and shop demand. Machines include CNC lathes and 3

• 4• and 5-axis mills with FANUC, Yasnac, Mitsubishi, Brother, and Heidenhain controls.

This is a shift-based position on 1st shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up CNC lathes, including work holding, tool kitting, touching off tools/establishing offsets, reading manufacturing drawings, and first-article buy-off
• Operate and set up 3
• 4• and 5-axis CNC mills, including work holding, tool kitting, touching off tools/establishing offsets, reading manufacturing drawings, and first-article buy-off•Operate, set up, and edit programs on machines within the department•Read manufacturing drawings and follow process sheets and programs•Inspect parts during production for dimensional and visual quality•Monitor equipment and tooling; report and respond to breakdowns or other production disruptions•Use offline tool presetters for tool offsets and quick-change tooling when applicable•Support and train junior team members; help identify issues and troubleshoot machining problems•Interface and communicate with Quality, Engineering, and other team members•Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area while following safety regulations

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with 3
• 4• and 5-axis CNC milling centers and 2-axis and multi-axis live-tooling lathes•Experience with FANUC, Yasnac, Mitsubishi, Brother, and/or Heidenhain controls•Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T•Strong hand/eye coordination and attention to detail•Team-oriented and able to follow and enforce health, safety, and quality procedures

Preferred:

• Graduate of an Advanced Machine Technology course
• Knowledge of 5S/6S
• Experience using offline tool presetters for tool offsets
• Experience with quick-change tooling

Compensation:

• Level 1: \$20.00
• \$27.50/ hr
• Level 2: \$24.46
• \$33.64/ hr
• Level 3: \$28.00
• \$38.50/ hr
• Level 4: \$30.00
• \$41.24/ hr
• Actual level and compensation based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
