)JOB DESCRIPTION CNC SETUP PERSON AND OPERATOR
To set up and/or operate medium size vertical & horizontal machining centers and/or CNC lathes. Experience with CNC Mill / Turns is a plus. DUTIES ofSETUP PERSON
- Set up and operate using work orders, drawings and programs.
- Optimize and troubleshoot machining processes
- Run precision production jobs, train operators to run the jobs that you set up
- Inspect precision work.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SETUP POSITIONS
- Be capable of complex setups with minimal assistance. (3 and 4 axis for milling)
- A minimum of 3 years setup experience. To read & edit programs. Fanuc/Yasnac controls
- To understand blueprints, geometric tolerances and basic machine shop math
DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR OPERATORS
- Duties are to productively operate CNC machining centers.
- Operators to be capable of operating the machines, making offsets, monitoring and changing cutting tools, understanding blueprints and work instructions, and measuring precision parts using indicators, mics, and the like.
