Job Description

Do you love working with your hands? Are you looking to learn new skills and up-level your abilities? Dresco might be a fit for you! We're looking for skilled CNC Machinists to join our growing team. Hours are first shift- 7:00AM-5:30PM Monday thru Thursday with overtime offered (not mandatory) on Fridays. Starting pay is $18+ based on experience. As a CNC Machinist you will be asked to interpret client blueprints and enter data into the CNC machine; set up the machine and monitor it as it operates; determine the fixtures, attachments and tools necessary to complete jobs; discuss project specifications with supervisors and colleagues to guarantee consistency between plans and products; inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation; perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning and tool replacement. Requirements:
Mechanically inclined and willingness to learn At least one year of experience operating CNC machines Previous work in the manufacturing industry Values precision and enforces quality standards Ability to communicate effectively and ask questions when needed Ability to read blueprints Comfortable maintaining machinery Utilize a variety of measuring tools such as calipers, tape measure, micrometer, etc. Familiarity with programming and interpreting CNC software Must be focused and pay attention to detail Must be able to lift-up to 50 pounds Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Please send resume's to: Aubryb@drescomachining.com
