We are exploding with new and returning work — and we're looking to add CNC Machinists at all experience levels to support continued growth. Located in Bay City, Michigan, we machine large, precision components for aerospace, defense, energy, and industrial customers. This is a large-format machining environment, not repetitive small-part production. Whether you're early in your CNC career or a seasoned Level III machinist who thrives on complex setups and problem-solving, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do (Duties vary based on skill level and experience) CNC Machinist- Level I Operate the following styles of milling machines CNC
- Small Gantry Style 3-Axis (101 inch X 138 inch) CNC
- Medium 3-Axis Vertical Milling Centers (38 inch X 98 inch) MANUAL
- Gantry Planer Mill (128 inch X 500 inch) Load materials and position workpieces correctly Set and verify work and tool offsets using the following traditional methods Edge Finder Paper/Shim 1-2-3 Block Test Indicator Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and indicators Monitor cutting conditions and report tool wear or machine issues Follow drawing, job travelers, and standard work instructions Maintain clean and safe work areas CNC Machinist•Level II Operate the following styles of milling machines or lathes CNC•Medium 3-Axis Vertical Milling Centers (38 inch X 98 inch) CNC•Horizonal Boring Mill 3-Axis (157 inch X 315 inch) CNC•Medium Gantry Style 3+2 Axis (167 inch X 448 inch) CNC•Vertical Turret Lathe (225 inch Swing) Perform moderate-complexity setups , including large-part setups•Machine surface plates, frames, and commercial-grade components to +•0.
