Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Machinist and play a vital role in producing high-precision components that meet rigorous quality standards. As a Machinist, you will operate and set up CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, manual machining tools, and other manufacturing equipment to craft metal parts with exceptional accuracy. Your expertise in reading blueprints, programming CNC machines, and using precision measurement instruments will drive the success of our manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled machinists eager to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Duties Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, and manual machining tools to produce complex metal parts according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Program CNC machines using G-code and M-code, including CNC G-code programming and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to optimize machining operations. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately, ensuring all parts meet specified tolerances using measurement tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and precision measuring instruments. Set up machines by installing tooling, adjusting machine parameters, and performing machine calibration for precise manufacturing. Conduct quality inspections during and after machining processes utilizing CNC quality inspection techniques and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to verify measurements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to machine operation, electrical discharge machining (EDM), grinding, and handling power tools. Collaborate with team members during assembly processes when required, ensuring components fit correctly with minimal rework. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathe and CNC milling machines in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of CNC programming including G-code, M-code, and CAM programming software. Skilled in manual machining techniques using hand tools, power tools, grinders, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement devices. Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately for metal machining projects. Familiarity with Mazatrol controls or similar conversational programming systems is a plus. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in electrical discharge machining (EDM) is advantageous. Basic math skills necessary for measurement calculations and process adjustments; understanding of GD&T principles essential for quality control. Join us if you're passionate about precision manufacturing! We value your expertise in metal machining, your commitment to safety standards, and your drive to produce top-quality components efficiently. This role offers an engaging environment where your skills directly impact the success of our innovative projects—empowering you to grow professionally while contributing to our mission of excellence in manufacturing.
