About the company: Advanced Mechatronics Corp specializes in the designing and building of new custom machinery. Our shop produces efficient automated machines, workstations, tooling, and more, all custom built in-house to accommodate the customer's individual needs. We are dedicated to the success of our people, our customers and our reputation. We serve several industries including but not limited to Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Material Processing, Agriculture, Weld Assembly, and Quality Control. We are located in Norton Shores, Michigan, between Grand Haven and Muskegon. We are a successful and growing company seeking motivated individuals with a positive attitude. This is a full-time, immediate opening, first shift position.
Full-Time Job Summary:
Gathering information and components required to organize and manage multiple builds. Assembling custom fixtures and industrial automation solutions Some participation in electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics installations Safely and efficiently troubleshoot intended machine operations Redlining prints , document and communicate changes to prints and bill of materials Communicate with design, engineering and build teams throughout the lifecycle of various projects Demonstrate a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality, safety and on time delivery of our products
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant experience in the industrial automation industry. Relevant education is appreciated. Related Vocational, Journeyman or Master certifications are appreciated. This position requires an above average electrical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to effectively read and interpret machine prints and schematics Should have a working knowledge of navigating a solid modelling software for reviewing machine designs. SolidWorks is our CAD software. Should have an advanced understanding of problem solving / troubleshooting methodologies and tools. Should be experienced and proficient using tools and machining equipment for the trade. Welding experience is appreciated. Must be able to manage time effectively. Must be detail oriented. Should be knowledgeable about electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic devices used on industrial machinery. Should possess a working knowledge of industry standard practices and techniques for machining and machine building. Must thrive in a team effort to achieve success for the company and our customers. Must possess efficient organizational skills to follow timelines, prioritize, multitask to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Should have your own tools for the trade Must demonstrate a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, on time delivery, and quality of our products.
