YAG, Fiber Lasers and more. Our prototyping machine shop is currently looking for experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist. Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, job orders, and related technical data for product specifications Program, Set-Up & Operate CNC Mills/Lathe as necessary to produce the required number of conforming parts in a timely manner according to process documentation. Utilize gages for in-process inspections, such as calipers, micrometers, indicators & bore gages Maintain routine maintenance of machines and related tooling Job Requirements Firm understanding of machining center theory including X-Y-Z Axis Minimum of 5 year in CNC machining lathe and/or 5 axis mill experience. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with G & M codes, tool offsets, speed, and feed editing Must be able to interpret blueprints in metric or inch Must have a working understanding of GD&T principles Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy within a timely matter Analytical & problem-solving skills utilizing strong Math disciplines Additional Desired Experience Firm understanding of cutting tools and tooling Experience in a prototyping environment is preferred but not required Programing experience lathe and mill using MasterCam.
