SHIFT WEEKEND

CNC/WEDM MACHINIST

Great opportunity to join a great company with a strong culture. We are looking for an experienced CNC / Wire EDM Machinist for our 2nd Shift Weekend schedule. This is a machinist position, not a basic machine operator role. We are looking for someone with hands on machining experience who understands the machining process and can independently set up and run machines. SCHEDULE2nd Shift WeekendWork 3 @12 hour days ( FR, SA, SU)Work the entire 36 hour schedule and get paid for 40 hourTemp to hire opportunity RESPONSIBILITIESSet up and operate CNC / Wire EDM machinesRun machines and parts independentlyRead and interpret blueprintsMake basic offsets and machine adjustmentsWork with tight tolerance partsUse micrometers, calipers, pins, gauges, and other precision measuring toolsPerform quality inspectionsMaintain quality and production standards QUALIFICATIONSCNC or Wire EDM machining experienceMachine set up experienceStrong blueprint reading skillsExperience using precision measuring toolsUnderstanding of offsets and machine adjustmentsExperience working with tight tolerancesUnderstanding of quality inspectionsAbility to work independentlyProgramming experience is not requiredStrong work ethicDependable and reliableGood stable work historyGood personality and attitude
