In this role, you'll serve as a versatile machining professional, supporting multiple manufacturing departments based on business needs. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of machining operations, including CNC machining, manual lathes, grinding, milling, drilling, and other precision manufacturing processes. Requirements:

What you'll do As a General Machinist, you will: Operate and maintain a variety of machining equipment including: CNC machines Manual lathes Milling machines grinders Saws Other precision manufacturing equipment Support multiple manufacturing departments based on production priorities. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Set up machines and equipment to produce precision components to specification. Monitor machining operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality. Inspect completed parts using measuring equipment and quality standards. Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with additional manufacturing tasks as business needs require. What you'll accomplish Produce precision-machined components that meet demanding quality standards. Become a valued resource capable of supporting multiple machining departments. Continuously develop your machining knowledge and technical skills. Help improve manufacturing efficiency while maintaining exceptional quality. Contribute to a team focused on craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. What we're looking for Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Machinist apprenticeship, vocational training, or equivalent hands-on machining experience. Experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
