Shift Flexibility:
Monday - Friday schedule with various morning start times available (6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM) for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
Setups on large CNC milling centers, G&M code editing, program optimization, fixture alignments, GD&T application, and mentorship of junior operators.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card, 2-Year Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in CNC Machining, and experience with independent setups on large milling centers. Key Responsibilities Execute Independent Setups:
Set up and operate large CNC milling centers and multi-axis machines independently.
G-Code Optimization:
Edit G&M codes and optimize programs directly at the controller for precision machining of high-strength materials.
GD&T Application:
Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T standards for optimal machining sequences.
Precision Inspection:
Use specialized tools for first-article inspections to ensure components meet specifications.
Collaboration:
Work closely with design and welding teams to address setup challenges, review designs for manufacturability, and improve workflow efficiency.
Leadership:
Mentor junior operators in setup techniques, tool selection, and safe operation.
Requirements Education:
2-Year Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in CNC Machining or Machine Tool Technology.
Experience:
Proficiency in independent setups on large milling centers and knowledge of G&M code editing and GD&T principles.
Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities, tool wear evaluation, and experience preventing issues during machining.
Stability:
Consistent work history showing growth and expertise with past employers.
Location:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder residing near Duluth, MN / Superior, WI.
Preferred Skills Multi-Axis Experience:
Knowledge of multi-axis configurations, with 5-axis machining as a major advantage.
Metallurgy Knowledge:
Experience machining tough alloys and heavy weldments.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software like Mastercam.
