Opportunity:
This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and making programming adjustments on CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality precision-machined parts. The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge, the ability to read blueprints, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • setup and operate CNC mills and lathes.
  • Perform machine changeovers and tooling setups.
  • Edit and Set make minor programming adjustments at the machine.
  • Troubleshoot machining and production issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators.
  • Verify parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections. What makes you a great fit:
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
  • Experience setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
  • Ability to make minor program edits and offsets.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills.
