Job Description
Set-up, troubleshoot and maintain production on CNC Mills. Machine parts to required tolerances and complete machine set-ups efficiently. - Perform set-ups on 5-Axis Matsuura and Okuma milling machines.
- Provide some technical support to mill operators.
- Produce production parts.
- Maintain close tolerances on precise parts.
- Interpret prints and specifications
- Inspect and record results to ensure product is within specification.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Qualifications
- Be able to communicate effectively.
- Be able to understand and follow standards, protocols, and procedures without excessive instruction.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Be able to cooperate with all co-workers and staff.
- Be mechanically inclined.
- Be able to work overtime on Fridays as needed.
- Under limited supervision, must be able to do first-time-run-through of programs ensure proper documentation and setup information for repeat runs.
- Experience with common measurement tools (Micrometers, calipers, vision systems)
- Experience with CNC Mills.
