Job Description

CNC Machinist Location:
White Bear Lake, MN Schedule:
1st shift & 2nd shift

    $30
  • 40/hr Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team.
This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts in accordance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and production schedules. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint reading skills, hands-on setup experience, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Set up CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines) including tooling, fixtures, and work offsets Load and prove out CNC programs; make minor program edits as needed Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for materials and tolerances Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools Troubleshoot setup and machining issues to maintain part quality and reduce downtime Collaborate with programmers, operators, and quality personnel to optimize processes Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED (technical or trade school preferred) 2-5 years of CNC setup machining experience Experience setting up CNC mills and/or lathes Proficient with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators Strong ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances Working knowledge of CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, or similar) Basic understanding of machining principles and cutting tools Benefits PTO 15 days (increases over time) Medical, dental, vision
