About the Role As a Precision CNC Machinist, you will serve as a vital link between digital design and physical manufacturing, ensuring that complex components are produced with absolute accuracy. You will leverage your expertise in multi-axis programming and manual machining to drive production efficiency and maintain the highest standards of engineering excellence. Responsibilities Configure and operate multi-axis CNC milling centers and manual lathes to fabricate high-precision parts. Translate complex blueprints and CAD/CAM data into optimized machining sequences to guarantee exact design compliance. Execute rigorous quality control protocols using advanced metrology tools, including CMM equipment, micrometers, and calipers. Develop and refine multi-axis toolpaths from 3D models to streamline the transition from virtual design to finished product. Generate detailed technical drawings and 3D models to support rapid prototyping and manufacturing initiatives. Maintain accurate production records and inventory data within enterprise resource planning systems. Qualifications Required Skills Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using platforms such as SolidWorks or Siemens NX. Formal education in Precision Machining Technology or equivalent industry certifications. Demonstrated experience in CNC programming, tooling, and machine setup. Strong manual machining capabilities and mechanical aptitude. Advanced computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Excel and Word. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with plastic manufacturing processes like injection molding, extrusion, or thermoforming.
