Machine Shop Assistant

Join our team as a Machine Shop Assistant and be a vital part of our precision-driven facility! We are a small, established precision manufacturing shop looking to hire a first shift entry-level shop assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support skilled machinists in producing high-quality components. As a Machine Shop Assistant, you'll gain hands-on experience with advanced machinery, learn essential manufacturing processes, and contribute to the seamless operation of our machining environment. We're looking for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, safety-focused setting where every task makes a difference. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to grow their technical skills in a supportive environment. A significant part of this role's responsibilities include assisting with CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and manual equipment, while gaining exposure to metalworking processes. You will also help with laser work, assembly, tumbling, marking parts, and other shop tasks as needed.

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
