Hours:
1st Shift, 4-Day Work Week (Minimal overtime on rare occasions)
Salary:
$37,440 - $78,000 per year (Based on a 40-hour work week, commensurate with Level 1, 2, or 3 experience)
Requirements:
Proven experience setting up and programming CNC lathes and operating manual machining equipment. strong foundational knowledge of advanced shop math calculations, speeds and feeds, and interpreting tolerances/dimensions. Ability to accurately read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings. Exceptional proficiency with precision measuring tools. salary:
$37,440 - $73,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education:
High School Responsibilities Day-to-Day Duties:
Set up, program, and operate 3-axis CNC machining centers to perform facing, drilling, tapping, pocketing, slotting, boring, and threading. Operate essential manual equipment, including manual lathes, drill presses, and horizontal/vertical band saws. Calculate and measure outside/inside diameters, depths, angles, flatness, and thickness to produce quality, tight-tolerance parts. Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other precision inspection equipment to conduct quality control checks. Prepare and deliver parts to the QC department in a timely manner, optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste. Apply 5S methodology daily to maintain a safe, highly organized, and efficient workspace. Accurately record production quantities and data on control plans.
For Senior candidates:
Perform complex 3- and 5-axis machine setups without assistance, train junior operators, troubleshoot production KPIs, and step into lead responsibilities when needed.
