CNC Machinist CNC Machinist Job Details:

Burlington, NC Pay:

$24-28+ depending upon experience

40 hours a week

Shift:

Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm

Length:

Temp to perm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Machine Setup:

Load raw materials, install correct fixtures, secure tooling, and set tool offsets for production runs.

Operation:

Monitor CNC mills and lathes to execute precision cutting, shaping, and finishing sequences.

Blueprint Reading:

Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications.

Program Editing:

Perform basic G-code and M-code troubleshooting and edits at the machine controller to optimize feeds and speeds.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges to ensure conformance to tolerances.

Maintenance & Safety:
