JOB SUMMARY
Looking for a team player who can work CNC program assignments; also, should possess some mechanical aptitude in regard to machine tool maintenanceDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to setup vertical and horizontal, CNC Mills and lathes
- Knowledge of cutting tools and basic G and M codes
- Able to prove out programs Interpret prints, drawings verbal instructions and process sheets
- Must be able to use basic machining measuring instruments i.e. calipers, micrometers
- Indicators, bore gages and be able to observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions such as warn or damaged cutting tools
- Confer with engineering department group to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
- Confer with workers in other departments to provide technical information
- Swiss lathe knowledge is a plus
- Follow company policies procedures and protocols
- Identify and promptly report any safety hazards or issues
- 3pm-11pm
