Job Description
Build Quality Parts. Work Independently. We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who takes pride in producing quality work, can operate independently with minimal supervision, and enjoys solving challenges on the shop floor. The successful candidate will have strong machining fundamentals, experience with CNC equipment, and the ability to maintain tight tolerances while supporting production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and related machining equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings. Perform machine setups, tooling adjustments, and offsets as needed. Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime. Perform routine machine maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area. Work independently while meeting production and quality expectations. Qualifications Previous experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC machining, including mills and lathes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, ect. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Solid math and measurement skills. Forklift certification is a plus.
