We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Shelby, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills, performing quality inspections, maintaining equipment, and producing high-quality precision parts in a manufacturing environment.

Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Pay Rate:

$20-$28 (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills using existing tooling and fixtures. Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections. Make tool and work offset adjustments to maintain product quality. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications. Maintain proper machine lubrication and fluid levels. Remove scrap material and keep machines operating efficiently. Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges. Report equipment or tooling issues promptly. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years of CNC Machinist experience . Experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T. Strong knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques. Understanding of speeds, feeds, tooling selection, trigonometry, and geometry. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Strong visual attention to detail for precision inspection work.

Pay:

$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
