The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (overtime available).
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, layout, set up, and operate a variety of manual, CNC, and computerized machine shop equipment. Perform tool adjustments and ensure precision in all machining operations. Interpret blueprints, process sheets, and technical sketches to execute production tasks. Cut and shape metal components to exact specifications and tolerances. Collaborate directly with engineering teams to understand part functionality and assembly requirements. What your background should look like High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree in Machining Technology. Completion of a 4-year toolmaking apprenticeship preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in milling, turning, heat treatment of tool steels, and surface grinding. Experience with setup and programming of Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and profile grinding equipment. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and go/no-go gauges. Proficiency in metric measurement systems. Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software.

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $52,100 - 78,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary
