Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM ($18/hr) Job Overview Our busy lumber company is looking for reliable, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our Truss Department . In this hands-on role, you will help build roof and floor trusses used in residential construction. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands in a fast-paced production environment and is committed to producing quality work while following all safety procedures. Responsibilities Build roof and floor trusses according to specifications. Read and accurately use a tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch . Use hand tools and saws to assemble wood components. Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production goals. Lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds . Qualifications Must be able to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16 of an inch. Experience using saws and hand tools is a plus. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the workday. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks. Reliable, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Steel-toe boots are required. Eye and ear protection are provided and must be worn while working. Must have a clear background and drug screening. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
