Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists at multiple levels to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and set up CNC lathe and mill machines to produce precision components according to specifications. The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively within a team environment on the manufacturing floor, handling production machinery in a fast-paced setting. Duties Operate, set up, and troubleshoot CNC lathe and mill machines to produce high-quality parts. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements. Ensure machines are calibrated correctly and perform routine maintenance as needed. Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and efficiency. Handle materials and tools safely, including lifting up to approximately 40 pounds when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and resolve any machine or process issues promptly. Follow safety guidelines including the use of PPE in a manufacturing environment characterized by moderate to high shop noise. Perform bending, reaching, twisting, and material handling tasks as part of daily operations. Skills Proven experience operating CNC lathe and mill machines; familiarity with multiple levels of proficiency is preferred. Strong understanding of machining processes, technical drawings, and blueprint reading. Ability to work effectively within a team environment on the manufacturing floor. Good physical stamina for long periods of standing, bending, reaching, twisting, and handling materials or tools safely. Ability to lift approximately 40 pounds when required. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently. Good communication skills for collaboration with team members and supervisors.
