High SchoolResponsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes and turning centers to manufacture precision components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, and work instructions. Load programs, tooling, fixtures, and raw materials according to established procedures. Make offsets and appropriate tooling adjustments to maintain dimensional requirements. Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, bore gauges, and optical measurement equipment. Identify and correct machining issues, including dimensional variation, tool wear, burrs, surface-finish problems, and other defects. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Follow established work instructions, quality procedures, and documentation requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform routine machine maintenance and communicate equipment issues to appropriate personnel. Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel to resolve production and quality issues. Follow all applicable company procedures related to medical-device manufacturing, traceability, contamination control, and product quality. Participate in continuous-improvement activities focused on quality, productivity, safety, and process consistency.
