The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues to guarantee that all equipment is constructed accurately and functions as intended. Candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude for this on-site position at our Long Island City facility, located at 3850 Review Ave, NY 11101. Manual Machining Expertise Required (Minimum 5 Years) Core Duties Construct components by adhering to precise technical specifications Operate pneumatic air tools effectively Perform visual and mechanical checks to ensure quality standards are met Utilize manual machining tools to complete tasks Adjust and modify valve bodies as required Help maintain a safe and organized workspace for the entire team Pursue opportunities for professional growth and advancement Demonstrate strong communication skills to support team objectives Required Skills and Experience Five years of hands-on experience working with milling machines and lathes Proficiency in the setup and operation of conventional manual machinery A proactive attitude toward learning and implementing new operational procedures Possess the hand-eye coordination necessary to ensure high-quality output Ability to use calipers, with training provided as needed Demonstrate reliability by maintaining a consistent attendance record Compensation and Perks 401(k) retirement plan including company matching Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Life insurance policy Paid time off benefits Membership in a union shop environment Working Hours Standard 8-hour shifts Daytime schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday work week
