NIXON GEAR - CNC MACHINIST

Gear Motions - Nixon Gear Division is a leading gear manufacturer dedicated to delivering high-quality, precision-cut and ground gears for OEMs worldwide. Our extensive manufacturing capabilities enable us to produce custom gears that meet the most demanding specifications, ensuring excellence in every project. We are currently seeking a full time CNC Machinist for our 2ndt shift (Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am) to join our team! Minimum 2 years experience desired with CNC equipment. Familiarity with close tolerances, ISO and SPC processes helpful.

CNC MACHINIST DUTIES

Set up and operate CNC machines, familiarity with CNC lathes, mills, ID/OD grinding machines is helpful. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications to produce precise components Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions Maintain proper tooling, fixtures, and tooling setups. Follow safety protocols; utilize hand tools, and other manufacturing tools responsibly Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements You will be eligible for an excellent benefit package - which includes eligibility for health, dental, vision, life, and long term disability insurance, as well as a very well-funded 401k Retirement Plan.
