Job Description

We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes to produce precision parts to tight tolerances. Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes. Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Program machines directly from prints. Use and understand G & M codes Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and offsets. Machine parts to tight tolerances and quality standards. Perform measurements and inspections using calipers, micrometers, CMM, and other precision tools Make necessary program and machine adjustments. Troubleshoot machining and quality issues. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work independently to complete projects and production requirements. Follow company safety and quality procedures. Be willing to work a flexible schedule as needed. Qualifications Previous CNC Lathe Machinist experience. Strong CNC programming and setup experience. Must be able to program machines from engineering prints. Thorough understanding of G & M codes Strong blueprint and drawing-reading skills. Ability to machine parts to tight tolerances. Experience using calipers, micrometers, CMM, and other inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible schedule availability. Preferred Skills Experience with precision machining. Knowledge of GD&T. Experience making CNC program edits and tool offset adjustments. Manufacturing or machine-shop experience.
Pay:
$30.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
