CNC Lathe Machinist Responsibilities:

Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T. Use G & M codes to program and edit CNC machines. Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machine parameters. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM, and other measuring tools. Perform first-piece inspections and maintain quality standards. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic preventive maintenance. Complete production and quality records. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Train team members as needed.

Qualifications:

CNC lathe programming and machining experience. Strong blueprint/drawing reading skills. Knowledge of G & M codes. Understanding of GD&T. Experience with precision measuring tools. Basic math and trigonometry skills. Ability to troubleshoot machines and work independently. Good attention to detail and safety awareness. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Salary based on experience and skill level.

$30.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
