Position:
Add value to the company by machining castings accurately and efficiently in accordance with established work instructions.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Program, Set-up, operate and maintain CNC machinery.
- Machine castings in accordance with the current work instructions.
- Visually inspect casting for non-conformity prior to machining.
- Inspect and record critical dimensions after machining.
- Complete all inspection forms accurately and legibly.
- Promote an attitude of quality, teamwork, and cooperation with co-workers.
Standards Within the
Position:
- Have the ability to read and understand work orders and identify components and assemblies.
- Be the expert in the programming, set-up, operation, and maintenance of the machinery you operate.
- Report any non-conformity using established procedures.
- Have a working knowledge of the inspection process and tools.
- Keep work area organized so that all products in the area can be readily identified.
- Make recommendations for new procedures and tools to improve efficiencies.
- Observe all policies established in the Multi-Wing Employee Handbook.
Expected hours:
40.0 - 50.0 per week
