We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machinist responsible for setting up and machining complex parts to tight tolerances using CNC lathes and mills. This role requires the ability to work independently, interpret blueprints, and ensure high-quality production from setup through final inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up tooling, fixtures, and machine origins using engineering drawings Machine first-piece parts to blueprint specifications and verify accuracy Run and monitor production, optimizing efficiency while maintaining quality standards Perform in-process inspections, SPC documentation, and final part verification Accurately record production data in ERP systems Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety protocols Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to meet product requirements Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

4-7 years of CNC machining experience (aerospace or regulated industry preferred) Experience with Doosan, Mazak, and Haas machines preferred Strong blueprint reading and setup skills with high attention to detail Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required Apprenticeship or journeyman certification preferred

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
