Wire EDM Machinist

Description Wire EDM Machinist / Programmer | $25

• 33/hr | 2nd Shift (3:00p-1:30a) Mon-Thurs | Overtime Available | Sugarcreek, OH
• CNC Wire EDM programming, setup, and operation producing high‑precision components for industrial applications
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T daily to meet tight tolerance requirements
• Perform full machine setups: part alignment, fixturing, wire threading, and parameter selection based on material
• Program and optimize jobs using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Esprit, or similar)
• Conduct in‑process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, etc.
• Troubleshoot machining, programming, and quality issues to minimize downtime
• Perform routine preventative maintenance (machine cleaning, resin levels, wire management)
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve workflows, reduce scrap, and maximize unattended runtime

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00

• $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
