Operate and program

machines, including setup and calibration for various production runs Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files to ensure accurate manufacturing Perform machine tool setup using manual tools, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement instruments Conduct CNC G-code programming and utilize Mazatrol controls for efficient machine operation Execute machining operations such as milling, turning on CNC lathe and milling machines, and manual machining as needed Monitor machine performance during production, making adjustments to optimize quality and efficiency Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to the HRUC machine or tooling and perform routine maintenance Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvements and new product setups Skills The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive skill set including: Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code Experience with Mazatrol control systems for CNC machining Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes is a plus Strong background in CAD software such as SolidWorks and general CAD design principles Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints accurately for precise manufacturing Familiarity with CAM programming to generate tool paths from CAD models Skilled in the use of machining tools, grinders, hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment Mechanical knowledge relevant to metal machining processes including lathe work and milling operations Experience in CNC quality inspection using measurement tools like bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and precision measurement instruments Understanding of GD&T principles for ensuring component tolerances are met consistently Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and machine setup adjustments Ability to perform manual machining tasks when necessary for prototype or repair work Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-precision environments This position offers an excellent opportunity for dedicated professionals eager to contribute their expertise in CNC machining within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
