CNC Machinist Century Industries is hiring a CNC Machinist for our machine shop. CNC mill experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Set up, program and operate CNC machines ( Hurco experience is a plus. ) Read blueprints and hold required tolerances Set tools, offsets, and workholding Inspect parts using standard precision measuring tools Make basic machining and process adjustments Troubleshoot tooling, setup, and quality issues Maintain a clean and safe work area Qualifications CNC machining experience Mill setup experience preferred Ability to read prints and use micrometers, calipers, and gauges Understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and workholding Reliable, quality-focused, and able to work independently We want someone who takes ownership of their work. The right candidate should be comfortable working independently once a job is established, recognize when something in the machining process does not look right, and take action before it becomes a quality or production problem. We value practical machining ability, reliability, problem-solving, and a willingness to continue learning.
