Sand Springs, OK Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Manufacturing facility experience Drilling machines Manufacturing Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC drills and machining equipment to produce quality parts according to drawings, specifications, and established production requirements. Responsibilities Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements while working on the shop floor. Set up and operate CNC drills and machining equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for required specifications and dimensions. Measure parts using tape measures, dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Remove slag and perform grinding as needed to prepare and finish parts. Operate overhead cranes to safely load and unload machines and position parts. Cut supports to required lengths using a hot saw. Occasionally operate forklifts as required. Complete assigned work according to established safety, quality, and production requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 2 years of CNC drill experience required. Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Ability to use precision measuring tools accurately. Knowledge of G-code and M-code preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work overtime as required to meet production needs. Working Conditions This position works in an industrial shop environment and may involve exposure to high noise levels, varying temperatures, elevated work areas, confined spaces, congested work areas, and other shop hazards. The position may require shift work and overtime based on production needs. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, reach, bend, and work in various positions as required. Ability to safely work around and operate industrial machinery and equipment. Ability to wear required PPE and safety equipment.
