Job Description

CNC Mill Machinist / Swing Shift Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Mill Machinist - Swing Shift to support precision machining operations in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on CNC milling experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a quality-focused approach with the ability to follow established machining processes and work effectively with minimal supervision. This role is on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon working Monday-Thursday from 4:15PM-2:45AM. CNC Mill Machinist Responsibilities Operate vertical CNC mills and/or horizontal machining cells to produce precision components according to established production requirements. Load raw materials, change out parts, and run assigned equipment using setup sheets, work instructions, and established machining procedures. Read and follow blueprints to machine parts to specified dimensions and tolerances. Inspect first-article parts using appropriate precision measuring instruments and submit completed pieces to Quality Control for approval when required. Perform in-process inspections and dimensional checks throughout production runs to maintain accuracy, consistency, and product quality. Identify dimensional or quality concerns during machining and take appropriate action within established procedures. Complete secondary operations such as tapping, deburring, cleaning, and part finishing as required. Safely use material-handling equipment, powered drills, screwdrivers, and other tools necessary to support machining operations. Maintain an organized and efficient workflow while completing additional machining or production assignments as needed to support production goals. CNC Mill Machinist Qualifications 6 months to 1 year of experience operating CNC vertical mills, horizontal machining cells, or similar CNC machining equipment. Basic knowledge of machining processes and practices within a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, work instructions, and other production documentation. Experience using precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and tolerances. Ability to safely operate a material-handling hoist and powered hand tools used in machining and production operations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established processes and production requirements. Strong communication and collaboration skills with a dependable work ethic and consistent attendance.
Compensation:
$28+/hr + shift differential & Bonus.
