Lathe Machinist Position Type:
Hourly full-time exempt employee. 90 day probationary period to ensure a good fit.

Harmony Turbines Inc is a small startup company that is developing a new kind of wind turbine that could change the way the world looks at clean energy, specifically residential wind energy. Located in Lebanon, PA, we are a tiny group of motivated individuals currently moving from R&D into low volume production. Looking for a sharp, detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized and respectful individual, who can hit the ground running with a startup that is looking to increase their machine shop CNC production capabilities. The successful candidate would be joining a small but highly motivated and energetic group of individuals who already have the skills in place to shift into production work mode. Job duties will include prepping stock, planning, managing and implementing workholding and fixturing solutions, machining parts and engaging with assembly personnel. Our shop is already equipped with 3 VMC machines and one 5-Axis Okuma Mill-Turn Lathe to support the operation. This position will be for Lathe Operation. We would like someone who has several years of experience doing this sort of work in a shop environment and can hit the ground running. The individual hired must be comfortable with walking and being on their feet much of the day. Some job duties require reaching, sitting, kneeling, squatting or lifting up to 50 lbs. Safety equipment must be used, and steel-toe shoes are required. There are many loud noises, and occasional smells from cleaning solutions, epoxy resins, 3D printing, etc. in the work areas.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong CAM skills (prefer Fusion 360 as it is the software we use)
- Strong CNC proficiency with Lathe, preferably OKUMA.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and blueprint reading
- Strong knowledge of part inspection techniques and processes
- Strong knowledge of various advanced fixturing and workholding techniques
- Strong knowledge of various tool and tool-holder options to assist in efficient run-times
- Teachable spirit and eager to learn new things
- Able to adjust priorities in an ever-changing environment
- Able to communicate respectfully and effectively
Job Location:
100% onsite at Headquarters located in Lebanon, PA.
