Description Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our machine shop team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating manual and/or CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor manual and/or CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.) Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job Measure, inspect, and verify finished parts meet specifications using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred 1+ years of machining experience (manual or CNC) Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills Ability to work with close tolerances and maintain quality standards Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or with a team
Schedule & Pay:
