Job Summary:

The CNC Machinist is responsible for independently setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production, maintaining tight tolerances, and performing routine machine maintenance. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the flexibility to support overtime needs.

  • Duties & Responsibilities
  • Independently set up and operate Haas CNC machines and CNC knee mills.
  • Utilize a basic understanding of CNC converstaional programming and perform necessary program edits.
  • Machine components to tight tolerances with precision and accuracy.
  • Use and read precision measuring instruments to inspect and qualify parts throughout the machining process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete daily machine maintenance requirements.
  • Work overtime as needed, including Saturdays when requested.

  • High school diploma required; trade school training is a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant machining experience.
  • CNC programming experience a plus should have at least conversational knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Knowledge of machine shop theory, standard procedures, and shop mathematics.
  • Experience with manual and CNC mills and lathes (Haas and Mori Seiki).
  • Familiarity with cranes and hoisting equipment.
  • Fork truck operating experience.
Pay Details:
