Full Job Description Manual Prototype Machinist Location:
Central Houston, TX 77030 Well known university in Houston seeking Manual Machinist to support Research team. You'll be able to work year- round/40 hour work week and help prototype some amazing items.
Position requires:
A manual machinist with 5+ years of experience. This will be fabrication work, repairs and rebuilds. Knowledge of blueprints, schematics and drawing will be expected
• Basic shop math is required (right triangle). Machinist must have own machinist tools. AC shop environment Temp to hire position, excellent benefits once hired! First shift position, Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm. Pay $25-32 Depending on experience. Proficient with shop math Bridgeport mill Saws/grinding Skillful working with brass, aluminum, copper, plastics, etc High School Diploma/Trade School Certificate a plus Manual Machinist
