Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Machinist with 4-jaw chuck experience and the ability to perform internal and external threading for our valve components at our
TODD MISSION, TX
facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate manual lathes for precision machining of valve bodies, stems, flanges, and bonnets. Perform 4-jaw chuck setups, including dialing in irregular or asymmetrical parts. Cut internal and external threads to exact specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine machining operations and tolerances. Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, indicators, thread gauges) to verify part accuracy.
REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience running manual lathes. Proficiency in 4-jaw chuck setups and dialing in offset parts. Skilled in ID and OD threading on a manual lathe. Experience with machining valve components and repairing valve work is a strong plus. Ability to read blueprints and use precise measuring instruments accurately.
Pay:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour
