As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programing, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate Doosan Lathe and/or 4 axis Mill CNC machines to produce precision parts according to customer specifications Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances Design parts and create CNC programs and drawings using Fusion 360, conversational CAD/CAM software, or Hand programing and drawing Select the appropriate tools, materials, and cutting speeds for each job Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure that parts are within tolerance and adhere to customer specifications. Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to ensure quality and accuracy Solve problems relative to work-holding arrangement, machine settings, and tools Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures Collaborate with team to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes Required Skills Extensive CNC machining experience on either CNC Lathes or CNC Mills Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, power tools, and hand tools Proficient in tooling, a broad range of raw materials, and CNC machining practices Experience in Autodesk Fusion, Conversational CAD and CAM, or Hand Programing used for designing parts and creating CNC programs Ability to read and interpret drawings, CAD models, and blueprints Ability to draw or create drawings, CAD models, and blueprints Desire to learn, grow, and adapt. The "No, because this is how I've always done it" mentality does not work for us.
