Spherion is seeking experienced CNC Setup Machinists for direct-hire roles with a Global Fortune 250 Aerospace Leader in Ogden, Utah. You will operate in a clinically clean, 6S, temperature-controlled environment, machining high-value aerospace components that require high precision and tight tolerances.

Responsibilities:

Perform complex setups, tear-downs, and first-article inspections on multi-axis CNC mills or lathes. Read and interpret complex aerospace engineering blueprints, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing (GD&T). Edit G-code/M-code at the machine control panel to optimize tool paths and cycle times. Perform statistical process control (SPC) data collection and verify parts using advanced inspection tools. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes.

AM Skills:

High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or journeyman card preferred. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for aerospace security clearing). Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
