We are committed to producing high-quality parts, meeting customer requirements, and delivering on time. We are seeking an experienced General Machinist to join our growing team. This is a full-time, day-shift position for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving problems, and works well in a fast-paced shop environment. Applicants must have at least two years of machining experience to be considered. Key Responsibilities Apply standard machining practices to produce precision components Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, specifications, and work instructions Set up and operate applicable machining equipment safely and efficiently Select and use appropriate tools, speeds, feeds, and machining methods Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring instruments Perform in-process inspections to verify dimensions and quality requirements Produce parts with tolerances as tight as ±0.0005 inch Identify machining or quality issues and assist with practical solutions Complete required job and inspection documentation accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work effectively with other machinists, inspectors, and management Support quick-turnaround production schedules and changing priorities Qualifications At least two years of machining experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Working knowledge of machining processes and precision measuring equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Professional communication skills Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn Ability to adapt to changing jobs, priorities, and production needs Willingness to work overtime when needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods on a concrete shop floor Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, and stoop as required Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Health insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid vacation Employee bonus program Opportunities to expand your machining skills Stable, full-time employment with a growing local company Due to the nature of certain customer and regulatory requirements, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and may be required to qualify as a U.S. person under applicable export-control regulations.
