Job Description

Since 1977, we've been providing high-quality manufacturing solutions to customers in the aerospace, defense, medical, and commercial industries. We are looking for a motivated Lathe Machinist to join our Machining Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys making challenging parts, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and has a keen eye for detail. Experience/education with manaul or CNC Lathes is required. What You'll Do Set up and operate manual and/or CNC lathes to machine precision parts according to customer drawings and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements. Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, inserts, and cutting tools. Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, drilling, grooving, and other lathe operations. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment. Make adjustments to machine settings and tooling to maintain required dimensions and tolerances. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all company safety and quality procedures. Complete production paperwork and accurately document measurements, quantities, and job information. High school diploma or GED. Must be a U.S. Citizen; No dual citizenship allowed. Previous lathe experience/education preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to read work instructions, blueprints with GD&T and follow specifications. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Dependable, punctual, and a positive team player. Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train within the department.
