Pay:
$28.00 to $33.00 / hourly
DOE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform CNC mill and lathe job setups simple to complex, first run and repeat. Perform First Article paperwork, establish and document setup instructions, tooling / fixturing documentation, operate CNC machines short and long run production. Assist in training of less experienced staff, optimize and edit cnc code and perform any other duties as needed. Use software to generate cnc code when needed. Mazak lathe experience a plus. Day shift only at this time, non-exempt full-time 40 hours per week position, M-F 7am to 3:30pm. Hiring decisions are based on qualifications and merit. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Key Responsibilities Machine Setup /
Operation:
Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes to produce precision machined parts. Including but not limited to reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, setup and tooling instruction to meet production requirements. Perform first and second article and in process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Maintenance:
Conduct daily preventative maintenance on machines and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Replace worn tooling as needed and perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work environment.
Collaboration:
Work with team members to produce products that meet customer requirements and assist in training other associates on machine setup and operation
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of machine setups, production runs, inspections, and suggest improvements to machining methods for efficiency. Additional Responsibilities Operate equipment in a safe manner. Accurate and complete time tracking with achievement of expected B-B cycles and shift yields Assist with training of other staff Understand and read blueprints, i.e. part views, definitions and foot notes. Be attentive, attention to detail! Keep up with offline support tasks Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
